The internal development team was under tight deadlines for project completion and experiencing excessive electrical radiated emissions.
Hal Walbrink was contracted as interim VP of R&D to manage and coordinate completion of the project. The Xinetix team quickly identified the display electronics as the radiating source. The team redesigned the display PCB and cabling to manage current loops, incorporating mitigation means and shielding to eliminate radiating EMI sources. Xinetix role was expanded to include nitric oxide optical comparator improvements and implementation of software and hardware upgrades.
