The Kuri personal robot was scheduled to enter the market in time for Christmas deliveries. Xinetix was enlisted to identify the source of excessive radiated emissions preventing release for sales.
Xinetix identified the LIDAR navigation unit was the source of excessive radiated emissions. Navigation unit cabling and PCBs were redesigned to improve signal current path routing and grounding. Subsequent EMC testing yielded radiated emissions to fall within international and domestic EMC regulations. The redesign and testing project was turned around within six weeks.
