Transit Controls was in a tight time frame competitive bid program to deliver a Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning system for the Washington D.C. Metro train system.
Xinetix contracted to design and fabricate the initial evaluation units. This required design of control software and hardware to manage high voltage / high power multi-phase DC motors and power management circuits. Xinetix completed the design in less than six months and accomplished successful train car installation in time for competitive trials.
